Faction champion commendations

    Can we make it so sinking champions of either faction count towards commendations please. My first fight in duo sloop today I get against a champion ship, manage to sink them. Hooray, oh wait it was same faction so doesn't count for anything. I get that in an ideal world we want to be fighting opposing factions but where devs have already taken the decision to allow same faction fights I think this needs to be addressed, especially since champion ships are so rare. On that note we could also do with some commendations that promote continuing as a champion as currently there's not much motivation other than 1 10 streak commendation 'fights won as champion' etc

    My stats still show no champions sunk, wonder how many it actually is (won't be high)

    When they introduced same faction battles all commendations should have been adjusted to work for sinking someone regardless of their faction since you have no choice in who you are paired with. I don’t know why they didn’t do this.

    I opened a support ticket about same-faction fights when I noticed the milestones/commendations weren't ticking up for same-faction wins. The response I got was they are "continuing to look into it." This was on 03Feb.

    I haven't played any hourglass on this account since then. Hoping they've looked into it sufficiently & come up with a fix soon.

    It's symptomatic. When they change stuff they never go all the way. It's all over the patchnotes, every time : "That new stuff we introduced a year ago now correctly counts towards that sstuff we introduced 2 years ago"

    I agree. Some of these commendations are rediculously hard as is without throwing in same-faction wins not counting into the mix.
