Hello guys. I just bought the game, never played it before, so I thought it was a good idea to play the tutorial before connecting to online servers. Unfortunately, I suddenly got banned while playing the tutorial, no idea why. Has this happened to anyone before? Feel like I just wasted 40€ on this game

I don't share computer or account with anyone. Literally just playing the tutorial like a total noob trying it for the first time.

redbeard banned or a different beard?
I don't see how it could be anything other than being linked to a previously banned account.
I'm getting the "Yellowbeard" error
There is no way I can be linked to a previously banned account - I have never even tried the game. I live alone, so my IP address haven't even been used for playing the game. I'm speechless.. Spent 40€ on the game, went straight to the tutorial, talked to a green man on the beach, then got banned.

@jtag96 Well good news is that yellowbeards are temporary. You should contact support to see if they can help.
Yea, I contacted them. Really just trying to figure out if this is a known error or not. I was looking forward to spending my friday playing this game for the first time. Seems like I will have to wait for a long time for them to respond to my ticket.
I must say that this is the worst experience I've ever had with any game, already within my first 10 minutes of playing. GG

Welcome to the Sea of Thieves. It is an amazing game but can be brutal for a first time pirate.
You will sink. Get used to it
Trust no one
Try to find a crew who are willing to teach a new player
As a new player turn loot in frequently.
When parking at an island. Sails up, anchor up, face in the direction you want to leave
Be aware of your surroundings, if a ship just sailed close to the island you are on somebody is probably trying to board your boat
