Gold for Doubloons. Doubloons for Gold

Unless it happened during that first Halloween, (i didn't have internet access I could play soT on...) and I don't think dubs were introduced yet. It's been a few years and many bottles of vodka lol.

If it was or wasnt a thing before and people are recalling wrong, i cant care less, but i can 100% get behind this idea as long as you cant just freely exchange back and forth and break even. I would say add the ability to exchange them, but each time there is at least some decent loss (mostly to be fair to the fact that they announced you can buy seasonal stuff with doubloons in the future), so you have to consider the cost of exchanging, rather than turning your gold into one, then switching it back.

As well for balancing they would need to make it so that gold multipliers would no longer work on exchanging doubloons to gold so that people cant just basically print free money.

I agree it should be an option, especially given they said in the twitch stream Monday that we will need our doubloons for stuff soon.

I guess some people are (or will be) regretting exchanging all or most of their doubloons for gold.

I'd rather they create more opportunities for getting doubloons (if the need for more doubloons is there) than an exchange for gold - certainly because the exchange has been skewed with double gold + golden hour opportunities in the past.
