His Favourite Crew commendation is even more broken now

It’s not worded correctly. It means that it doesn’t need to be a champion, just on your captaincy ship. So they removed the champion wording, but they didn’t do a great job at conveying what it actually meant.

The Commendations entitled His Favourite Crew and Risk It All will no longer update when defeating a non-Champion ship.

@ShenLongKazama Originally it only worked of you were the oldest Crew member on your boat. Not sure why that was how decided to count, but it did.

It's working as intended now, whether its a reasonable requirement is another matter given there's very little motivation to keep a champion flag up and not lower it

Im level 113 and ive seen 2? Champions. This commendation is near impossible now.

Unless you're going for the 10 streak commendation, Champion is not only safer, but more optimal. Once you get your curse, there's a commendation for how many times you've become a champion. Meaning, I lower at my 4th sink just to be optimal... There's not a good reason to push for a higher streak unless you don't have time for 4 more games (but enough for 1 or 2, weirdly) or you're looking to break a personal record.

Only allowing the opposite faction to count for this makes it even worse. With the original system, this was fine, because you could only invade the opposite faction. Now, the commendation should get reworked to go along with the recent changes.

@hiradc That it was intentional is even worse. Who thought this was a good idea.

@grumpyw01f The original was more logical, sink 100 enemy ships while on a captained ship.

Seems to have been fixed now. GG Rare, if thats the case.

Actually they changed description so I wonder if the patch notes are wrong. Doesn't reference champion ships anymore. Anyone tested if still progressing?
