Sunken curse I collected all journals skipped the collecting of chest and skulls bought the commendations got the chest and keys from each of the last 3 places unlocked chest red last journal after placing triangle on table nothing happens no curse nothing not even a notification I read the last journal I need help do I need to do the collect number of chest/skull

If you have gotten all of the accommodations, you could try logging out and logging back in again. That's happened to me before in a slightly different context. If that doesn't work, you could open up a support ticket to Rare.-Lucky11
@lucky11 I did skip a few of the comidations but it let me purchase the scroll after I collected all journals I did not do all the comidations for collecting skulls and turning them in and chest and such I just collected journals and opens coral chest and read last journal but nothing happens

You only need to read the final book that’s in the secret room. If you’ve done that and you don’t receive your curse within 72 hours submit a support ticket and tell them it’s been more than 72 hours and you still haven’t received it.
Can confirm. I did all of the journal reading/commendation getting to unlock the quest, and had some friends tag along when I did it. They just read the journal at the end and got the curse.

You have to actually do the voyage to get the curse. You can't skip steps. You might also need all journals (doesn't apply to you)
