    So hi there guys. I'm new ish to sea of thieves. I really want to get the new skeleton curse, but I have no idea how long it will take for me to get there. I'm pretty bad at the pvp area of the game and I dont want to PvE the reputation since the payout is terrible.

    What is the best method for grinding the experience for a lose streak player like myself?

    Also how long will it take if I at least spend 5 hours a day just pvp-ing but not winning.

    I understand curses are the real deal and its not for people like me. I like it a lot and want to put in the time. I'm just trying to get what I like in the game while also acknowledging my limitations.

    Maybe someone can help me pvp every now and then and kinda help carry me half way through or something.

    I believe any advice or knowledge will be great and very appreciated.

    Believe me when I say I'm not looking for a short cut, but assistance in something I really want to attain.

    Long time ago I really wanted the eastern Jade set but now I cant find gifts for that at all and felt forced to give up on that dream. This new skeleton curse is a new aim and maybe to ambicious for someone my skill.

    just keep diving for fights and take the easy wins when you get matched with people willingly losing fights and fire some cannonballs on the rest and just don't play in survival mode

    2 of the main things that make this content tough are the wait times and the long fights, you can't do much about wait times but you can just opt out of long fights by playing to fight a bit and not to eke out a win

    it's grindy but it is what it is

    or just buy spinal and avoid it all and play how you wanna play lol

    Is there some way you can earn more reputation from each battle or is it just as simple as diving and diving. Shouldn't I stack. Up loot and then dive and if so is it worth the time to do it that way?

    Loot that isn't flags is lost when you dive. And it appears as though invaders invading invaders is prioritized in the match making so I have sailed for hours without being invaded. Turning in faction treasury grade 5 without any streak is worth about one win so it's not really worth the time.

    No unfortunately supply, dive, fight, repeat is the fastest way to get the curses. Like @wolfmanbush said, take the wins you can, lose quick if you can't, and just keep going. The numbers I believe that are being floated are (without any streak bonuses whatsoever) about 200 wins or 2000 losses. Just keep diving is the conventional wisdom at the moment.
