Is this a new glitch or have I been banned from buying supplies from the shipwright since the last update, I cannot flat out buy them anymore, It's not greyed out everytime I try to buy It does not work anymore

It's a bug that happens to sloops; I've heard that removing your captained voyages might fix it.@lem0n-curry it happened to me once on a Galleon. Changing ship did indeed resolved the issue so it could be a strange bug with the captaincy voyages.
@lem0n-curry Yes It worked for me had to vote and cancel 60 voyages they were not showing for me In my inventory but when I placed a voyage they showed that I had them
@cptnpotbeard thanks for info but i have loads including the expensive captain ones. Shouldn't really have to discard, it is def a bug

The fact you currently have several captain's voyages that you deem "expensive" and believe that expecting Rare to fix this before 2023 is something that you think is going to happen by proxy of refusing to do the simpler action to bypass a bug that prevents you from purchasing valuable supplies for a session, is mind boggling to say the least.

Instead of discarding, people can do (some of) the voyages. - this may be quicker than waiting for a fix.
Or use another ship in their fleet, or join another crew that has no Captain voyages or doesn't care about discarding them.As this thread was over a year old and revived today, it will now be locked.
