Fire& Retract Harpoon- Key Binding Broken??

    Since 2.7.1 Fire or Retract Harpoon on Keyboard & Mouse Key bindings is locked and uses the default (left mouse button) despite having been rebound to Mouse Scroll Down - It can't be changed.

    Is this the same for other PC players?

    Mine was default and now is unbound and won't let me rebind. I'm also having weird performance issues

    @mitchelldunns Thanks for checking - It' s the same for others on mhy Discord as well. Glad it isn't just me - so it will get fixed once someone notices!

    If it helps, it seems like it still works (I use default lmb, I'm curious what you use).
    It still shows unbound though.

    There's a chance it's just visual, maybe it still rebinds, reminds, doesn't show the change.

    @mitchelldunns It still works but reset to LMB, despite saying Mouse wheel down and being locked out in red whilst being unchangeable.

    Can't be mapped to any key.

    I'm just struggling on - can't believe no-one else has jumped on this yet...

    I tried to report it, but it's not really a 'bug' and the bug reporting seems to be... well... bugged itself.

    I have this same issue. Logged back in and tried resetting controls but no change. Shows "fire harpoon" as a red "unbound" and can't rebind it. Sometimes I could fire, and sometimes couldn't

    XBSX here with the exact same, game-breaking issue. How can they not mark this as a known issue? Not only does it unbind the right trigger from harpoon and you can't change it but in my case, it seems to change some of the other settings as well. Have had to reboot the XB every time to get it working again.
    And, it also turns the controller response so low that turning the steering wheel feels like I'm always working with a broken, slow wheel. Let's go, Rare. Some of us have sunk a ton of time and money into this game for you to make it unplayable every time to patch something.

    @Slim Giggity Thank you mate, i had tried to when i first discovered it, but their bug reporting platform is also a big bugged.

    I hope this gets fixed soon, i keep making vital harpoon errors!

    Same issue. Can't bind the harpoon fire button.

    Same. I'm having the same problem aswell though it is still usable with LMB (Left Mouse Button) but the biggest problem I have right now is not only I can't change the "Fire or Retract Harpoon" but I also can't use the Reel function. No matter what I set the reel key to it just doesn't reel/ doesn't work.

    Anyone else having this same problem?

    Damn it! I keep findiding myself needing this to work! :D

    IT's obviously across the board, just feel as though, sadly, it's low on priority and won't be addressed until the Advenrture update.
