@red0demon0 I think he means you can't report them, because you can't see their gamertags and Rare demands reports with screenshots/vids where you can clearly see the gamertags.
You probably be spawning just outside the red sea, but the enemy is anchored inside it and thus you can't reach them. You sail right for the blackscreen wall. You bucket till you hit it. It will blackscreen you, you will lose your streak but you will remain on the server. Go get TT9 and hunt them down.

Yes. Well... not exaclty. When you start with fully deployed sails, you get into the red area very quickly and if you do not turn around quickly, you sink. And if you turn around but go back too far, your sand clock explodes. They leave a tiny gap of non-red-sea area where you appear. So... the best you can do is to play a patience game.

What's the point of hunting but loosing the streak?
@captthreepwood glad you held firm. I trust the devs are working on a fix for this. I reported exactly how they are doing it and they said they were forwarding it to their securities and testing team. Normally they say they are forwarding it to the devs, so I think they take this seriously. If we are lucky it’ll be in a patch this Thursday or Friday, cause I assume there will be an update the end of this week for the Festival of Giving they just announced.
@burnbacon TT9 was specifically blocked and the only way to activate it and the hourglass is to glitch the system. So yeah, in this case, it is a bad thing. The rest of the tall tales they left unlocked to use freely with factions, just Shores of Gold is in question. And for obvious reasons, as people use it to force wins.
As for disciplinary actions, I don’t know if that’s in question here. I just think we want the devs to fix the exploit they already intended to not be a thing.

TT9 was blocked. I checked because I was going to do exactly what OP's opponent was doing. It's not supposed to work, and it's an exploit. The Pirate's Life TT you're referring to the ghost ships don't target players, so it's all for show.
Now if you got spawned into a fleet battle or active fort...lol good luck. Could probably snuggle up under Old Faithful, Marauder's Arch and Kraken Fall for a similar effect lol.
