I know this has probably been asked before but... is there any hope at all for a Nintendo Switch port of Sea of Thieves? I know that the Switch would struggle to run the game, but with cloud gaming it seems a bit more plausible for this to happen. Seeing the growing partnership between Nintendo and Microsoft I don't think it would be too out-of-the-ordinary.

Buy a steam deck? It's basically a better version of the switch anyway. As much as I hate to admit it Nintendo has been terrible at the hardware game for a long time now. Always the weakest console. It really stinks because out of all the consoles I love the Nintendo exclusives the most but I am done paying for the hardware to then play a game like Breath of the Wild to run into areas where the framerate drops down to 5 FPS... I can't comprehend why this question keeps popping up. You just want to be able to play sea of thieves on the go? Not sure what growing partnership you are referring to. If its just cameos of characters that only exist because they were born in the NES era that's not really a growing partnership. Nintendo and Rare had a long history together.
@magus104 likely referring to fact Nintendo and Microsoft have done advertising together. Microsoft has now made a deal to bring CoD to Nintendo.
Also the Switch would run SoT natively very very bad. But if Gamepass was an option for Switch owners, why not give it a try.
As for just buying a Steamdeck. People already have Switches and want more use from them. The steamdeck also uses Linux an OS that is not supported by Sea of Thieves. And while it will run SoT, after every update there are issues.
I don't believe it will happen. But the only way I see it working is gamepass streaming.

Lol. Run a smaller version of SoT on it.I honestly only use my Switch for exclusives or smaller, less demanding games. Especially if I don't want to bother with achievements for them. The Ghosts and Goblins remake was the last non N game I bought lol.
I just use it for exclusives...this summer I played Mario&Rabbits-Sparks of Hope and Bayonetta 3...that's it for this year, next game will be Zelda...in may...so it will take a while again
