Sprint is canceling when i press L stick

    i bought a new controller and still the same. when i sprint it runs a little then stops i need to press L stick again im missing my boarding ships because of it too as its the same in water. Il swim a little then it stops, i only have sprint assigned to the L stick i checked. i reset to default settings and tried everything can someone help please. I was 4 yrs on pc recently moved to xbox everything was good on pc. Thankks ...

    I find that the slightest thing will stop my pirate from sprinting whilst using the controller. It might be a tiny unintended movement of the left stick, or a small pebble at my feet as I run. Yes, it can be frustrating at times.
