Add Saving Pirate Outfits!

    I doubt that I am the first to ask for this, but it would be awesome if you could add some way of saving your pirate outfit in the clothing chest or something, similar to saving your customizations onto your ship. As Sea of Thieves is a game that has a cosmetics oriented progression system, being able to quickly swap between saved outfits for my pirate would be amazing. With the current system, I just rarely feel like taking the time to go and change every piece of clothing that my pirate has individually, especially when I need to just hurry and get a dark outfit on for some tucking. One way to address this would be to add an option in the vanity and clothing chests respectively to 'create new preset' which would allow pirates to create and name a new custom outfit that would include a preselection of each of the different items that can be equipped in the respective chest. This preset could then be equipped to instantly swap to all of the clothing/vanity pieces saved within it.

    Anyway, I just wanted to say that me and my crew would really appreciate if this was added in a future update, and it could possibly be another way to spend the huge piles of gold that some of us have lying around. (Maybe adding a new shop where one could purchase these presets similar to buying a new ship preset...)

    Mike Chapman, creative director, did a little Q&A/Podcast with Captain Blubber and AShinyRay, and confirmed that yes, eventually, Clothing Presets will be coming to the game. It's a matter of when, not if!

    Here, he explains how they've been watching what people want, and that outfit saving is definitely happening. They are just working on what season to add it too, but if i had to wager, it's most likely going to be a QOL update in Season 9!

    @silentkiller646 He also said in the first few weeks of release we would be able to name our ships. That took over 4 years lol. Hopefully they don't ad some kinda of additional milestones system and call it like clothes pins where we need super long grinds to unlock the ability to save our player cosmetics. Basically since it's gone so long without them adding this feature I think most of us just were outfits since they cover up everything.

    Though with the ship cosmetics not properly saving I fear trying to say clothing presets, especially if they are going to charge us gold for that as well it might randomly forget out clothing presets as well. At least right now our cosmetic load out has been pretty solid for a while. I haven't seen the gun load out bug in a while like back in year 1 where it would forget your weapons of choice and default you to cutlass blunder or whatever it was.

    Awesome! I do agree with you @Magus104 , I hope they don't make it a grind to get it, and although I do like costumes (Some of which do require grinding which I am a fan of for the cool ones like the Soulflame Captain one), I would still like to be able to wear my own unique outfit instead of such a limited selection of costumes. I like all of the individual clothing pieces that you can acquire in the game, and making savable loadouts would give me the incentive to actually make more out of them.
