This might just be me But personally I am so fed up and annoyed with all the twitch drops being as pathetic as they are usually how they are just reskins of existing cosmetics Or special items you can only get if you're simping for a streamer that gives you a limited time code But can you guys seriously just stop with abusing the loyal fan to the game I'm giving too much power to streamers I've been playing since launch I have over 2000 hours in the game between xbox and Steam And there's certain cosmetics I've tried my hardest to find which would cause me to spend hundreds if not potentially thousands in IRL money Is to attain cosmetics such as the farryman set Which you can only get online now for about a $1000 buying it from some scalper who's more likely to scam you than to give you the actual item code Or the obsidian capstern which last I checked is selling for about $500 to $600 from most scalpers And there's even certain cosmetics you guys just refuse to give to us that we've desired for a long time like personally might all time favorite lantern the ferryman lantern you know the hourglass shaped one you only get to use in tall tails and special events for bell It is just such a beautiful lantern I would love to use it every chance I got there's times I've purposely started the tall tail and never completed just so I could run around and use that lantern And I personally don't care whatever excuse rare might try to make about things like the firm and set being limited time tied to a special controller Because in the end it is still their item they legally own the rights to it they can re-release it whenever they want They just refused to even though it would make so many members of the community that joined the game late happy to have And personally I would love to see a little more appreciation for the average gamers rather than the streamers Since the average gamer is what keeps this game alive So why don't you guys stop giving us stuff we don't want and add back in some of the best cosmetics this game has ever seen Just take all the stuff you have ever put into twitch drops and lock it behind accommodations in the game with realistic expectations to where if you don't obsess over watching somebody for 4 hours a week you can still get it Rather than having try Harding streamers flow to in your face constantly that They have it and you will never get Because like I said some people showed up to the community a few years late because of circumstance might not have had a gaming console or computer Or maybe just didn't know that much about the game or want to get into it alone without having friends that played it And instead give something back to the community That deserves it and it's how part is I guarantee you almost nobody will read this Unless you are like minded like me and want to see these things happen I'm almost positive no one at Rare or the See of thieves Dev team will even read this post And actually give a reasonable explanation Without instantly dismissing all of this argument Even though certain things were launched With set parameters that you need to watch twitch drops or spend 60 bucks on a controller that most places you didn't even know of till months later because of poor advertisement That many players will never get some amazing cosmetics Which is also a shame because that also means many players of the game will never know how truly talented the art design department working with CFC is because some of their best work will never be seen by the common players Unless they buy it 3rd party from scalpers for potentially thousands
Bit of an old subject but bring back the ferryman set
I think legally they're not able too. Maybe that was Apex legends... But I'm pretty sure for these at least, they cannot generate new codes or anything for this Ferryman set. I might be wrong I'm not a dev, but for the past 2-3 years that's what I've heard regarding it.
Ferryman set was never a twitch drop, it was time limited and is likely staying time limited as a reward to those who have been dedicated to the game since the beginning.
Obsidian Capstan was never a twitch drop, it is a special cosmetic given out to people during special events. Keep an eye out, or do some especially good deeds around the place, y'never know what luck might bring for the patient.
The Ferryman's Lantern was never a cosmetic (although this time agree it should be)@the-warlord-98 let's stop with this backwards attitude and move forward. Let us have some awesome new cosmetics. Stop dwelling on the past. Make a better future
