I often use the Companion App to help locate points, but cannot understand what symbol represents my question. On the map there are many symbols and identifying mine is impossible for me.

It is not an official app from rare. I don't use it as I find alt+tab more convenient. When I'm not playing I can find the same information online and prefer a bigger screen of my computer vs smartphone.
So unfortunately I can not help with your question, I can however recommend to try out rarethief. It has an interactive - easy to comprehend map and guides to everything in this game. But you probably know about it anyway :)
