I like to role play as a merchant alliance representative, but the Merchant Alliance costume is 1) extremely easy to acquire so there is no show off factor, 2) makes you look like a common grunt and not a high ranking member, and 3) does not look that cool. I would like a new costume for the merchant alliance that addresses all of these issues. Thoughts?

Maybe Rare could add new costumes to match the Ledger ship sets to further represent each company?

Building on that - why not make it into separate outfit pieces?
After you earn all the Merchant Ambassador ship pieces you could then go on to earn the Merchant Ambassador outfit pieces.

@wolfmanbush subjective - that's what you were looking for on that. How one perceives how something makes one look, and if one perceives something to be "cool" is a personal preference in which case it is not erroneous even if your perspective varies from theirs. Thus, it is subjective.
