What is the strongest thing in the Sea of Thieves?
If you're crazy, you'll say The Pirate Lord or Flameheart. That is the wrong anwser.
If you're a bit more smart, you'll say a thirst for freedom and adventure. Also wrong.
The power of friendship? Close, but still wrong.
The correct answer, my friend, is a pirates liver.
Seriously. I mean, pirates drink an INHUMAN amount of grog, over a 100 in a single drinking session sometimes, and yet the only case of alcohol poisoning we have, was caused by poison poison and not alcohol poison. It can therefore be assumed that the liver is the strongest organ in a pirates body, and is the main source of their power and energy.
It also explains why skeleton pirates are usually weaker than human pirates, because they have no liver to absorb the blows. A pirates liver can be assumed to protect all vital organs, and therefore it must be whittled down, and then there will be an opening to get the much more weaker organs. However, this must be done quick, as any food eaten will be taken from the stomach and be given to the liver as nutrients, allowing it to regenerate.
Also, in case of the brain, a pirates brain is usually quite small so there is plenty of space for the liver to grow and thrive there, too. It's basically a second brain. It's the main reason headshots deal the same amount of damage as shots at the stomach, the main reason why pirates like to drink so much and also the main reason why pirates tend to "spew" out bad ideas.
In terms of phantoms and skeletons, they can still drink, but they probably have to store it somewhere else. Skeletons "cram" their nutrients inside themselves and phantoms probably store it inside their stomach, bigger than ever thanks to their lack of organs.
If you realise that only human pirates posses a pirate-y liver, then you also realise all those leaders squabbling over the sea aren't that powerful compared to the average human pirate:
-Flameheart's....flame heart is exposed, at least that is what it seems in the pictures that were studied. That means we can assume he does not have a liver to protect his heart and killing him will be as easy as shooting him in the heart.
-The Pirate Lord is a phantom, and since we can assume phantoms don't have organs, he doesnt have a strong liver to protect himself from any attacks. His endurance can therefore be assumed to be of a regular phantoms...
-If the GMU does invade, and if we assume all members of the GMU are human and have perfectly functioning livers, then they STILL can't beat the average human pirate, as the members of the GMU are not pirates, and therefore have regular non-pirate livers, that take bullets like a normal organ...which is to say not very well.
Sadly, all the leaders of these companies have something also very powerful-"plot armour", an invisible shield that protects these people from any harm, whether that be because they're somewhere unreachable, or just because you can't seem to hurt them.
However, most plot armour either wears off, or if it doesn't, it renders the user of plot armour almost unable to attack or be aggressive.
So, in conclusion, a pirates liver is the most powerful organ and the source of all of a pirates power. If it seems your liver is failing you, and you keep dying, that is because you haven't given it constient nutrients. If you do, and you keep dying after that, it is merely dehydrated, and you should give it as much grog as possible. If your liver somehow manages to explode or you maybe just misplaced your liver, too bad, you're organs are now exposed and you are now WEAK.
Thank you for listening to my comprehensive study. I hope you keep this information in your liver-brain hybrid.
