Hey so uh, ship saving still isn’t fixed

    How many times must you guys put that you fixed ship customization saving in the patch notes and still not fix the issue? It’s been over 2 months since the season came and and not only have people not been compensated like SoT Support said would be rolling out, but the problem still exists and it still taking gold.

    I had to test it because I had someone swear to me the other day that they fixed it. And I logged on today to see maybe 1/5 of my cosmetics saved. This is getting frustrating.

    Could you at least put it in the known issues for the patch notes?

    after they recently fixed it mine have fortunately stayed, but I haven't changed anything in an attempt to keep mine locked in

    I've heard of people still having an issue

    understandably frustrating for people to have the main feature other than naming the ship not working consistently months later

    Why the heck can’t they just make it free until it’s working reliably? Seems silly to charge for it in the first place, doubly so when failures generate lots of compensation, frustration, and ill will.

    I haven't lost any of mine since the fix. Is there something unique about your ship cosmetics (rare ones maybe?) or something different you did in the session right before they disappeared?

    I havent lost mine since the alleged fix, but also havent changed them since. Did do a lot of server hopping though

    I am dreading the day when my ships get reset again. I hope never.

    @d3adst1ck the only things it kept were the wheel, figurehead, flag, banner, title and logbook. I had stuff saved in every available slot, even cabin stuff and it’s all reset. I’m glad it’s not broken for everyone but until it’s fixed for everyone I’m going to continue to be annoyed.

    The ship itself is a mix of rare and common cosmetics. Consisting of: LionFish Hull, Collector’s Paradise Garden sails, Golden Legendary figurehead, Paradise Garden Cannons, Golden Sailor wheel, Obsidian Capstan, Celestial Steed flag and paradise garden cannon flares. So, pretty all over the place as far as rarity goes.

    As for saving them, I logged on to set them and then after everything was set I logged off.

    I'm going to pass this on - but can you also make sure you submit a ticket if you havent already?
    There are always edge cases like this that need to be mopped up and there will be something in your data or combination of parts causing this to fail so the team would love to hear from you.

    If fringe cases like this keep happening, then that leaves me feeling like I have to ask - has it truly been fixed? 🤔

    That said, outside of mismatched base colors on the base of my golden sailor capstan, front of my hull (sans figurehead), and occasionally on 1 of my default sailor capstan spokes - which is quickly and temporarily fixed by resetting the hull (it always seems to come back and haunt me later mid-session), I don't really suffer from pieces resetting anymore myself - at least not with my sloop (haven't sailed with my brigantine or galleon since the update).

    Please Rare, also take the time to fix the mismatching color issues. I submitted a ticket about it months ago!

    In my experience this issue happens mostly when changing from one ship to another. I think that the devs should take their time and address this issue properly before adding new content to the game.

    @galactic-geek it seems the sailor stuff isn’t changing colors with hulls consistently too. Maybe I should make a ticket about that as well

    @musicmee thank you! Just finished the ticket and I tried to include as much information as I could about the ship.
