Athena commendations if delivering loot to reapers?

Reaper does not give you credit for Athena commendations.
There is a Reaper commendation for selling Athena loot to Reapers tho.

The only Athena specific items that still count if turned in to the reaper are the new little trinkets from the LOTV voyage. Such as the shark, secret keeper, etc… everything else needs to be turned in at an outpost.

The reapers are essentially the enemy of the Sea of Thieves. They tried to destroy Golden Sands Outpost, remember? The reapers despise the original 4 factions. Why would the Pirate Lord give you anything for supporting the Reapers Bones faction?

right on but stronghold loot isn't reaaally athena loot, although the commendation is only earnable after being PL. The sovereigns (probably also enemies of athena) also take almost all of this loot with full commendation support.

@honeycrisp1 Veil loot can all go to the sovereigns, i've checked and these all work for the commendations.

It’s true that the stronghold items aren’t Athena loot but those commendations were meant to give pirate legends something to work towards. There are plenty of reapers bones commendations.

Truth be told, the stronghold loot can be sold to 3 different of the original factions. Since you need to become a pirate legend by getting level 50 in those 3 factions, it only makes sense that the pirate lord supports the original 3 factions

@coffeelight5545 Does make sense yeah. Would love to see a bit clearer wording on some of them though. Between this and sovereigns i've been checking my commendations and milestones A LOT these lasts weeks. Most works at sov's but oh no that specific skull type doesn't..(it's stronghold skulls if you're wondering)

If I was solo i could manage, but try convincing your crew to wait turning in every time you check if something counts haha
