I logged in today and all my ship customizations reset to default. Considering this has been a prevalent issue in pirate customization I don’t think you should be charged to save customizations unless the dev team is 100% sure they’ve fixed the issue. Considering how many times over the years my pirate’s lost all cosmetics I don’t think this will happen.

I think paying to save them in the first place is dumb as you already own them.
It’s not uncommon to regularly change your ship too. It just feels like a dumb mechanic to steal your gold.Owned cosmetics should be free to save on any owned ship as you own them both.
That’s just my 2 cents on it tho.
I do think the gold price is reasonable and I have no problem with it, other then it being wasted before I found out it was bugged. I think a good solution for those who suffered is once they fix the saving ship cosmetics they should make it free to save ship cosmetics for maybe a week or work something of the sort out. This would greatly help in just easing the minds for those who lost money, and even a to those who never saved but had to wait.

You can save a preferred loadout, and equip whatever you want every day. You don’t need to save your changes everytime!

Thats true why charge for gold to save it when you already own it? You dont agree its dumb?

Maybe they do this to discourage changing your saved cosmetics everytime you play. The cost of "remembering" is also why i think we never got pirate outfit saves.

Seeing how easy it is for a common player to earn gold these days...it a good gold sinker.
Just because it’s easy to earn gold doesn’t make it a good use of spending gold.
We could definitely do with more ways to spend gold, but paying fees just to save a livery you’ll probably use for a few days is just a waste. Feels like a tacked on last minute end result.
No, the better uses of spending gold are out there, this certainly isn’t one of them.

@crowedhunter Oh, wait. Having said that, I think they already did fix it and now you can do "revert to saved options" when this happens. It hasn't happened to me since the adventure update came out though.
Nope that didn’t work. I now have a fresh off the dock starter ship after selecting that option.

Not everyone is following wherever you got your information. Some people just play the game.
And no… it’s a bad gold sinker if it doesn’t do what it’s supposed to!
