Paint and paint brushes / Reapers Paint.

  • As captaincy is here its nice to redecorate your ship and make it look a cosy little area.
However many of the ship interiors are just the generic dark wood interior. Its only if you are lucky enough to own the bear and bird or some other cosmetic that your ship interior has a painted wall.

What i propose is a fun new item that could be used to both fix this and also potentially interact with it on other ways.
Sure i could just ask for more cosmetics that add painted interiors but thats boring! Here goes...

You could purchase a paint brush from the shipwright and upon buying paint (of various colours) it fills your personal bucket up.

Using the paint brush depletes the paint inside your bucket enabling you to draw on the surface of your choosing. Bucketing water on the paint washes it off. You can buy a paint keg too and interact with your bucket to fill it up.
This enables you to do various things.....

    1. Paint your ship either inside or outside. I know we already got cosmetics but its a tool to allow you to put some touches you like, for example if you have a green ship, you may want to paint the inside green too etc. It will wash off if water comes spilling in over time so be quick if you want to keep it fresh. if you bucket the water out quickly it wont fade away as much.

    2. Reapers Paint.
The reapers paint donned in that classic dark red hue.
Its also paint that pings up on your ships map only.
If you see a parked ship you could tag them with the reapers paint and track them. The crew can wash the paint off with a bucket of water but if they dont notice, it could be a good way to keep tabs on them etc. Be wary of boarders and be sure to make sure they havent left any paint anywhere inside your ship otherwise you'll be seeing them more often.

    3. Throw the paint at a target or on the ground using your bucket. it blinds longer than puke!
The paint is also flammable so you could draw a line that leads to a keg, using the paint as a fuse of sorts.
It will also spread footsteps for a time until it dries if you walk through it and generally behave how you'd expect it.
Rain etc or water will wash it off whilst on a ship, on land however it will fade overtime just so the world doesnt look like splatoons.

    Anyways thats it from me.
