Mermaid Change Suggestion

  • So I Had An Idea About Changing The Mermaids To Be Called Upon With An Item In Your Inventory Instead Of Randomly Spawning In To Go Back To Your Ship.

(Edit) Okay So Lets Say We Don't Remove The Random Spawning Then, Cause I See The Concern A Lot Of You Have So Instead Maybe They Could Allow Us To Call Them In With An Item Added To Our Inventory Or Maybe Add A Shanti To Call Them In Faster?

  • The mermaid is also a warning to other players that someone might be hiding in the water or on the island next to it. You would take that away then.

That's exactly what OP wants. To be easier to tuck and be sneaky.

Bad idea. 👎 and it gets shot down fairly quickly everytime.

  • Merfolk are NOT your slaves.

Ramsey saved one of them from some doublegunning tryhards so they return the favour.

Another one of these...no, for several reasons you can search in the forums for

  • Mermaids add a good amount of balance where inattentive players can still be caught off-guard, but you don't need to spend all of your game time staring at the water in case someone comes up for air for half a second.

    facepalm

Quick search on the forums and you find others have suggested this and you will find the answer to be the same. “Nope”

  • No thanks... I think we have to be really discerning when it comes to changes.

Also the mermaid bug where sometimes your own mermaid has no smoke.

Spent the longest time trying to figure out how someone was making a 4000 IQ play to tuck on every island we visited while the ship hung back. Ended up being mine but with no smoke.

  • Just make them look less ugly!

    Seriously, they look terrifying

  • Okay First Off No Need To Be Rude About It I Simply Gave A Suggestion I Wasn't Meaning It Should Be Changed To Board Another Players Ship I Was Referring It To Be Changed For Getting Back To Your Own Ship Cause It Takes 2-3 Minutes For It To Pop Up For Me So I Can Get Back To My Ship And Crew. I See Everyone's Concern And I Hadn't Thought About That It Could Be Used To Sneak On Another Ship So I Edit My Post And Instead Of Completely Removing It From Random Spawning Maybe It Still Spawns In But Could Also Be Spawned In Faster Maybe With Another Item Or A Shanti Being Played?

    Merfolk are NOT your slaves.

Ramsey saved one of them from some doublegunning tryhards so they return the favour by rescuing pirates in places they are passing by.
