I genuinely hate this community, i try to play two games today and I just constantly get trolls to destroy my ship, what the point of playing this game anymore if people can join ME and brig ME on MY own SHIP, like im fed up, all day i have gotten trolls. Why cant you let the ship OWNER kick or brig people, why is bad behavior allowed to persist in this game, im done playing if everyday i get on its 12 year old trolls, and i screenshot their names and report them but no one cares.

@wolfmanbush Im just truly upset that I can't brug or kick who i want on a ship that i OWN, to me that is so unacceptable, truly, me and another friend ar waiting for people to join and we get trolls, im just gonna use LFG man
Never play open crew, you get nothing but trolls.
Tonight my crew sank some brig that was constantly firing shots off in random directions even when they were docked at an outpost with nobody near them.
We sank them for shooting at us, and they said they ran out of cannonballs because of that guy, who the boarder from our crew confirmed was brigged.
The guy was just spamming text chat with "trololol" the entire time@scheneighnay yeah man im [Mod Edit] TIRED of this game, always trolls, always, theres way too many children that are toxic, like at least let me kick kids from MY SHIP, i hate rares decisions, like whats hard about a kick feature man
This is the reason people dont like open crew, generally its best avoided, because so few people do it anymore that dont intend to just troll. Something does need to be figured out with open crew to fix the issues that come with it.
As a side note, evidence for trolling cant be a screenshot of their name, you have to basically record them trolling you. Dont just get a screen shot, the devs of this game dont ban unless they are absolutely sure that something happened, and just a screen shot of a name from behind the brig isnt really proof.
I do find these posts frustrating. I purely open crew when I'm not solo. I very rarely get this issue. The odd occasion when I do I just leave. Join another crew, bam, doing grade 5 athena or reaper. You loose some and you win more.
I find discord & lfc hard work to set up and just annoying. I wish more people open crew; the more better people there are the better it becomes.
Kick will be open to abuse.
I agree though Captains shouldn't be able to be brigged. Brig voting needs more visible notifications.

I open crew daily and you are not telling the truth. Others said it best, open crew is for trolls 90% of the time. You are just choosing to argue for some odd reason of which i have not figured out. You said it in your own response is that you leave as soon as someone starts being toxic but then start it off with you hate these post and open crew is never trolls. You are contradicting yourself lol.
Anyway i agree the brig mechanic is very odd as all it does is upset the person being brigged. They will do anything to sabotage you lol.
I jump on open crew once or twice every session just to get the troll outa my system.

what people largely consider toxic and trolling in open crew is simply inexperience.
People are under no obligation to be experienced or skilled.
Open crew requires patience and understanding but it's not a majority of trolls, trolling, or toxicity.
Many lovely people in open crew and the best thing about them is how real they are. It's not a show, it's not a production, it's not content, it's just living and surviving and it's often times beautiful within that.
