Captaincy & Doubloons

Captaincy turned out to be a good way to spend your gold and even those with the most gold out of all of us find themselves having to spend quite a fortune.
But that leaves me wondering about doubloons, we still got loads of these.
So why not take advantage of it and offer some more special rewards with them? I'm talking hull effects, parrots and monkeys roaming the ship, phantom spectrums or seagulls flying above the ship, customizable barrels, or even creating your own banner or choosing from a selection and being able to place it at various locations around the ship.
You get the idea, it'd be a shame to have your gold revenue going down without the doubloons following.
