So I just spent the last 2.5 years enjoying this great game and investing hundreds of hours to complete accommodations and gaining title only to have Captaincy mean my accomplishments don’t count because my boat wasn’t there? Even in Black Flag and Rogue your accomplishments showed up as trophies on your shelves and cabin. This should be like that. Is this a glitch? Like I’ve done FotD over 50 times I do t want to have to go back and do that grind again to get an accommodation I already have.
Do all my previous achievements mean nothing?
Milestones are a new way of progressing in the game, similar to a prestige system. The milestones only apply to a Captained ship which is why previous numbers do not count - previous ships were not Captained.
The team had multiple design conversations regarding this and ultimately this will not be changing.
