I think you should be able to use whatever titles you want in the discord server not just pirate legend so you can show off all of your titles

@starwarsman8000 maintaining that would be nigh on impossible not to mention that a discord server has a maximum amount of roles they can create
There's already quite a big range of roles to choose from as a regular user, adding more floods the role queue on the moderation side and becomes unnecessary. Sure they'll still do new roles just for fun like #TeamMerrick and #TeamReaper, but the amount of time it'd take to put in every single title would be insanity

I don't think you understand how much work that would be. There are 300,000+ members on that discord. if only 1% heard about an ability to change your title to anything you want, then their would be 3000 people asking for a name change. That is not feasible.
Your idea sounds like a classic case of "I want something and I'll throw out any idea to make it sound credible"
@starwarsman8000 i have a feeling you have no idea how these “titles” in discord works, they aren’t just titles. They are roles and are generally used to group people together with certain access rights (like mods and the like)
They have used some of them to allow for a bit of fun and show a form of allegiance to certain playstyles.
All these roles have the same rights of course as regular members but that doesnt change how discord works, in order to create a single extra role it takes about 3-4 minutes, there is a cap of 250 roles on a server of which at least some are taken op by roles like: Moderator, community manager, deckhand, boatswain, bot, partners these are used to give people access to tools within the discord server general members don’t have access to (exclusive chat rooms, moderation tools etc etc etc)
You are suggesting to allow all individual members to request titles they want out of the game (which are ever changing) and whenever they are sick of that title request a change to any of the others. This is not maintainable simply because it is not what discord roles are meant to do furthermore there are at least 420 titles in the game (i know because i have that many) so this would plain and simple be impossible to Add to discord not even talking about the amount of time it would take to do so and continued time investment for all the requests left right and center
