Buyable tridents?

  • I suggest that pirates should have the ability to buy tridents off of merfolk. In my opinion, I think there should be a chance for a mermaid to have a trident on their back that is buyable for 400+ gold depending on the quantity and the quality. The lowest quality of tridents will have about 8 charges left at the cost of 400+ gold, and those of the highest quality cost more than 1,000+ gold. These merfolk will be marked with a dark green-ish flare. When near a world event, the merfolk’s prices will increase by a large margin, and have a lower quantity, preventing pirates from abusing the system. These merfolk will not appear near Sirens and will not appear in the Devils Roar, and will disappear after 40 seconds.

  • Got to first be able to sell them before we buy them

  • No. You should never have been able to buy supplies. Definitely not something as powerful as a trident.

    Go hit a treasury.

Everyone complains that no one uses Shrines/Treasuries.

Go work for it for a minute.

  • tridents are excellent for activity incentive and are correctly designed in a risk/reward scenario where the more activity someone participates in the more power they have which makes it easier for things like world events and general pve/loot production.

tridents and wraithballs are the two main examples of doing it right.

  • Oh well go ahead and add it.

Might as well add wraithballs to the store too.

And a Chest of Legends I can buy too.

    Game's too hard.

  • NO! We shouldn’t be able to buy tridents

  • Or head on down to the nearest Shrine that's like 30 seconds away from any outpost, and get like 10 of them for free....?
