We all have a favorite Outpost. A single island that feels more like a home or a haven than anywhere else. Enough so that you'd rather spawn there than any of the other godforsaken spits of land. OR maybe you're grinding on the infamous Gold Curse, and want to spawn at a particular Outpost that is near the Tale you're working on. Or you just like having a chat with Madame Olivia and Harry the Hoarder after you wake up in the morning. May I present a common solution to all these problems. May I present...(drunken pirate fanfare) Tavern Rooms! The Tavernkeeps of the Sea of Thieves have "borrowed" a Wood Crate and a Shipwright's Hammer to finally fix those staircases. In the second story of each Tavern, there are three rooms to book for the night, which, when booked, garuntee a spawn at that Outpost the next time you log in. However, when booked, these rooms are locked to all other players for the rest of the server's lifetime, so an Outpost may be completely booked for the day. And, as a bonus for more paranoid plunderers, you can take ONE piece of treasure in the room. This treasure will be in the room when you next wake up, but, if there is treasure in your room while you are still online, the door will stay open, allowing other pirates to come in and nick it. Sadly, the Taverns claim no resposibility for this. So, what do you think?

Generally a good idea in my oppinion it shouldnt be locked when one got a room.... it should only be a more technical expierience that you could choose for a certain amount of gold on which outpost you want to spawn in next time... would also add a bit more roleplay to it, when you log in for example at the outpost you logged out for the timem before...
Dont take the treasures with you tho, because it would be kinda useless considering the fact that you are literally at the outpost to sell it...
@generalcreeper6 You are actually proposing to block a spawn point for the whole server while reserving one ship, even when the player is not part of the session. That will cause one less ship available to spawn and with the limit of five ships for server, it means less player interaction for that session.
So it is a backdoor way to increase the odds of getting all your friends into the same server, aka Alliance Server, by having each one "reserve" a room at a different outpost when simultaneously joining a game. You may not have thought of this consequence but that is exactly how many would abuse this exploit.
Hard no, even without this possible exploit of the system. Adventure should be random each time.

I'm not sure about storing treasure in the taverns, but I think having the ability to pick a "favorite" outpost to spawn on would be awesome! I like your in-game explanation that we are renting a room in the tavern as well! I would gladly pay 20 gold to ensure that I spawn at Plunder Outpost the next time I log in!@generalcreeper6 said in Tavern Rooms:
I always thought it was kind weird that Adventure randomly spawns you. It’s like: “Hey, how’d my pirate get halfway across the map? Must’ve been a good story, shame I didn’t get to hear it!”
Hence the groggy wakeup scene in the tavern each time you start a new game.

Blackout drinking...
Apparently made chocolate chip waffles, cleaned up, proceeded to sleep in the tub for 2 hours only to go hide in the car for an hour before finishing up on the couch...Alcohol is not your friend.
Back on topic... I would like to somehow choose a spawn. Or increase a possibility of it. Others have pointed out things I didn't think of.
