Bailing water consistency

  • You can bail water through the windows of the sloop and the the grates on all of the ships, but it's never consistent. The water now always splashes on open windows as if it didn't make it out, even though it actually does (it used to work fine all of the time). As for the grates, even though I can often see the water clear the ship, water still often fills up the ship (and this is without any holes or rain nearby).

I fear this is a continuation of hit-reg, because this stuff didn't use to happen in the early days prior to hit-reg becoming such an issue.

Furthermore (I almost forgot), even though I show crewmates how to properly throw the water out through a grate, from my perspective, it almost always looks as if they just threw it at the wall, even though the water didn't fill the ship up again.

All of this is easily tested and seen using the bucket and water barrel. It's so annoyingly inconsistent!

Fix it and let us bail through the sloop windows and ship grates more consistently, please!

Toss it up the stairs and over the rails.

Seriously love....ever tried to throw a bucket of water outta window?
The heck did you think would happen?

Florida Native. Hurricanes are less intimidating than DA sails.

#buckets out the hole in the roof

  • I haven't found this. I still, like many others, suffer from the bucket reg, though

I am tossing it over the railing - it's just through the grate and THEN over the railing. It's faster and smarter to do (when it works) because it rewards more experienced/ observant play.

Also, native Floridian - haven't had a hurricane beat me yet in my nearly 40 years in the state.

  • You could either analyze the wind direction and heading of your ship to counteract the speed and frequency of rocking on the boat then compensate for backtrack on bucket hitreg

or just toss it somewhere easier.
