I don't know if anyone has already posted this but the lost sands adventure can get you some fast resources.
Go to Reaper's Hideout and start the adventure by talking to the servant of the flame.
Wait for the rowboat to spawn, and take all of the supplies in the rowboat's chest.
Blow up the rowboat.
Start the adventure again.
Repeat as long as you like.
Don't know if destroying your own rowboat counts in the outcome of the story or not.
