@mrlee03 yeah! I don’t know myself but speculation online has been there’s either a cave on sailors bounty during the tall tale art of the trickster with his skeleton in it or he is the dog on K-9. No idea which one is canon but those could be places to try?

I think this is more than a word search. They never said it was one in the tweet.
If I had to guess, I think this is the ship's log and T has the cipher (the torn part of the page) to figure it out.
DeMarco's note read:
"I entrust you with my ship's log and the cipher needed to understand it."
Theory: I think the "F¬" could be the starting point and the cipher will give us directions to move to make out the message (something like "[arrow right] 4", "[arrow up] 10", etc...). Either that or something to lay over it that lines up with the "F¬".
That's an interesting idea ! I'm pretty sure it's more than a word search as well.
Yeah, I don't think this pirate is who we have to imitate... My theory is still that the original outfit cosmetics we were looking for are what we need to wear when talking to him. I think he's "T". I get the feeling this part is time gated, and we still need to find the "heart not on their sleeve" first.
@amandahasapanda I believe that by shouting glory awaits at the Twitter post of the open chest at or after 11 on the 18th of this month was what triggered getting the code/word search so that part might be done or being used twice?
Ah, I missed that that was how the word search was shared on Twitter. Tried in-game just to see and it didn't do anything on the 18th at 11 or otherwise...so back to the drawing board for who T is. :-/
@amandahasapanda I don’t think youre wrong about who! I just think it’s possible that we don’t have a time constraint at all anymore on when to talk to T.
Loveable Rogues Tattoo confirmed as part of the outfit we need? (Fallen Sea Dog Lantern hiding on the right)
♥ The Loveable Rogues Tattoo Set ♥
Some pirates end up being so popular, it really warms the heart. Visit all the Legends of the Sea that Umbra categorises as The Loveable Rogues, and you can wear this heart-filled tattoo in tribute to these passionate picaroons!

Yeah! I tried talking to Burnin' Tony yesterday with both the Sailor Tattoo Set XII and the Loveable Rogue Tattoo...both with the lantern and without...and even tried on the 18th in-game and at other times, but still nothing different. Wondering what other clue is still missing...
Tis been a while since I've sailed the seas. I'm sure the fish are swimming happily, the skeles are causing a ruckus, and the winds give off such a cool breeze just as ever...
I think when I get home from work I'm gonna play dress up and see if anyone says any new dialogue, starting with Tony at Devil's.
Tried talking to Burnin' Tony again with the Ruffian Sea Dog Pegleg (and the Rotten Bilge Rat Hook for good measure) and I still don't get any new dialogue. So either Tony isn't T, or something with the outfit still isn't right.
Some folk got new dialogue from Burnin' Tony by wearing the Ruffian Sea Dog Peg Leg, Pirate Lord's Hat, Inky Kraken Eyepatch, and Loveable Rogues Tattoo...
The pics are on Discord... but here's what he has to say:
Ah! It’s you. DeMarco told me you’d come for his logbook once the coast was clear. Thing is… I’m not sure it’ll help you find him. He swore he was being hunted, y’see…
Sure enough his sister turned up just as we he was leaving. They had a blazing row, let me tell you! A scorching, heated, fiery…
Ahem. Anyway, that’s why he encoded the final leg of his journey and hid it in a chest with his belongings. And that’s when a funny thing happened.
See, he was so keen to get away from Lesedi, he forgot to stash his secret to breaking the code! But then… Well, I don’t know what came over me. It burned so brightly…
I buried the log so I wouldn’t be tempted again. I’ll dig it up, so stop by in the future if you want to read it once I’m done!
As for the secret stuff, I s’pose it must be scattered to the four winds by now. Um, sorry about that...(the "we he" typo was there in-game, I think it's accurate otherwise)
I think Burnin' Tony may have been a red herring, as there isn't a Fallen Sea Dog lantern in the photo with him on their social media posts. And the silver hook is still in question, as to whether or not the hook pictured with the Kraken Eyepatch is relevant, or if we're still waiting on a separate hook to be revealed.

No, it turns out he is who we needed to talk to... see my post above showing his new dialogue.
You need to wear the Ruffian Sea Dog Peg Leg, Pirate Lord's Hat, Inky Kraken Eyepatch, and Loveable Rogues Tattoo set.
(Someone helpfully pointed out to make sure it's the INKY kraken eyepatch)
I was wrong! It was Inky Kraken's Eyepatch. Not the Kraken's Eyepatch.
@amandahasapanda, try it again with theses:
@realstyli Dang! I was so close! My forum page is having issues with refreshing/loading my notifications, so I missed your post.
No worries. Also make sure you have the Fallen Sea Dog lantern out when you go to talk to him
This thing is just going to drag on forever, isn't it? The timegating is getting irritating.
They should have done multiple shorter mysteries instead of a single one with multiple steps, in which we are basically no closer to the conclusion now than we were when it started. The puzzles are fun but it's kind of a let down when solving one gets you essentially no answers and you get to wait some more.

Not gonna lie, I agree that has been the most frustrating part of this. I'm also not fond of progressing it with no confirmation at times of exactly what we did right.
I'm hoping we get some sort of breakdown at the end, so we can make sense of it all.

They could have easily split this into phases or chapters, where you'd get a satisfying conclusion to a question and the mystery arc would continue.
- Who was murdered?
- What is the murder weapon?
- Who does the murder weapon belong to?
- Who is the murderer?
- What was the motive?
- Conclusion
We've finished Step 0, since that was basically given to us when this started, but do we have any answers to any of the other parts after a couple months of doing this? Nope. I understand that they are setting a pace for how fast the mystery is able to be unraveled so that everyone can sort of follow along, but the problem is there hasn't been any actual development or relevant information revealed.
That's one for Feedback & Suggestions, IMO... but I agree that would have been a decent way to break it up.
Yeah sadly I gotta agree with you guys. I thought the mystery was going to be something that could have been done in... maybe a few weeks? Only answer we really have is who was killed. Everything else we don't have any answers for. All we got for one answer, if I recall correctly, was unravelling the code with those shards you guys figured out recently. The code being "Glory Awaits" which tells us nothing. I feel that's what the cypher is going to be with this new sheet of paper with all these letters. HOPE I'M WRONG, but I can see it coming!

Hi, not sure if this helps, but I found a note on Ruby's Fall not too far from Tony which says 'Just listen! None of this feels right...'.
It was on the southern slope of the island, where there's a few bones and a broken shovel. The lantern revealed the note on the handle of the shovel. That was part of an earlier step in the mystery where we found notes on graves after the music box on Sea Dog's Rest started playing "Seek The Dead".
You can find out more here:
or here:
New clues are appearing, two players on the Discord found notes on Thieves' Haven....
Translation:
D18. Four Paces North. Three Paces North-west. Seven Paces East. One Pace North. Two Paces West. Three Paces South-east.
If you compare these to the letter grid/word search, and follow the directions, you get PASSAGE and HOWLING. (Note: E3 = 5th column, 3rd row as a starting point, for example)
There may be more notes like this on islands (not just Thieves' Haven)
so keep an eye out for messages in a bottle or random barrel voyages. Klensy, the player who found the top note above, clarified that they found the piece of paper just lying on the sand on Thieves' Haven.
