Buried treasure maps not spawning

Moments ago a I buries a piece of loot and the game gave the usual pop up of buried loot and said "Map added to quest radial" but it has not shown up in my quest wheel nor is the bundle on my ship, Before any comments no It was not robbed as no one is around or in the area.
