Lost shipment shipwreck not spawning

I was doing a lost shipment voyage and the shipwreck didn't spawn. I have all the clues and in the image I posted you can see the path I took in green and the final red line being where the ship "went". Either it goes through Ancient Spire or doesn't have any space to spawn between the last clue and Ancient Spire. I circled the island 4-5 times and backtracked halfway to see if I missed anything, but the boat just didn't spawn. There are no other bird location other then the clue spots I checked already.

This isn't the first time that has happened to me with voyages to start from Galleon's Grave and end at Ancient Spire, annoying waste of time.

Sometimes it can be behind the destination point...never had no birds for the location...it can happen, that no shipwreck is spawning, BUT then the journal is still spawning! But the key is useless then...
Circling the island that often is not necessary...look further away...for example I had the last clue almost next to the destination point and the shipwreck was two squares away from it
Anyway, it ALWAYS spawns at least the journal with birds flying above, if they didn't put any new bug in it...but I don’t think so...

Edit: forget that green line you made, just look in a radius of 2 squares from the destination

For reference I went so far west that I reached Crook's hollow, so far south that I passed Devil's ridge and so far east that I went to devil's roar at Roaring Traders and Forsaken Brink. I didn't see any other birds.
If the last clue means search in a 3x3 tile, then it's not obvious at all anyway since the last clue always says something along the lines of "we're making a b line to our destination". But even then I didn't find anything.

Anyways I was just venting because I wasted an hour searching because I was 1 merchant level away from reaching Pirate Legend and because it wasn't the first time that I've seen this bug or whatever occur. But I did another one from Ancient Spire to Finest Sea post, and the wreck spawned where it should, near the red line, and on route towards its destination. Nice and easy.
