I was thinking for the hunters call that you could add a bait box. The box's sole purpose would be to hold bait and you should be able to buy the it from the hunters call. When I want to fish with my friend it's so unadvantageous to have to dig up the bait, but if we could just buy the bait and focus more on fishing maybe the hunters call would be more appealing to players.

@icheshire7146 yeah, this is much needed. Digging up an entire outpost for bait is just weird, just like it was picking up resources and bringing them to your ship without a storage crate (and they even added the QoL functionality of automatically transferring stuff, because it still wasn't a good experience to be switching between menus all the time to bring items of the barrel and into the storage crate). With bait, you have to dig, then pick up, then switch back to the shovel, and when your inventory slot is full you go back to your storage crate, place them there, go back to pick up the one you left there, and then carry on. It's just cranky. We should be able to purchase a bait box for each type of bait, maybe from sea posts.

I don’t think the bait digging is the non-appealing thing about HC...
Did you ever fish for hours? Going for specific fish is much worse...throwing rod, wrong fish, put it back in, throw it again, wrong fish and so on...for hours...
Also when going for the rare ones, you don’t need that much bait, especially now with the nameplates...EXCELLENT ADDITION BY THE WAY
I finished everything from HC a few days ago and if you go through the outpost, seaposts or shipwrecks you find plenty of baitThere really is no such box needed, use a supply crate and you got your bait box (I know you want to buy them)
@schwammlgott I figured if we could buy a box maybe more people would give HC a chance. It is very easy to get bait, but when you're trying to go for the legendary hunter of sea of thieves title it is hard to get enough bait. You know at least 210 bait for each category of fish that requires bait. That's of course you do it flawlessly without mistakes. Most likely you will need more bait if you're wanting the title. If you're going for reputation and not the title then a box would be just a nice perk and not really required.

It's not like you will fish from zero fishes to all of them in one go...sometimes you can be happy to get 1 rare fish in hours...
@john-gold8985 We need a reason to go to the Seaposts more. Other than the HC and a tall tale at one of them there's really no reason to go to one. Yeah it might funny to go see the 3 items to guy has, but how much do we actually stop at one to look at what you can buy from the shop guy. I believe that they should add more reasons to go to a Seapost. So maybe a bait box, or another item/faction/trading company could be put there.
@schwammlgott I know it's just a thought. Not everyone has to agree. Just a idea to make fishing a little easier on us. The Hunters Call could use something a little more than just selling cooked food and fish. There's no voyage and not a whole lot going on with the company.

There was an event once, with voyages for HC...they were...friendly said, extremely boring and senseless...
HC is fine imo, no voyages needed, as this is something you do while you do other things@schwammlgott Anyways thank you for taking to the time to read my post and comments. I will try to be more active one here and post more suggestions. If I'm able to come up with any. If it's added Ill be happy and if not I'll keep fishing.
@icheshire7146 Don't be discouraged. In fact, I think bait boxes are a good idea.
I also liked doing those fishing voyages during the fishing event and I would welcome it, especially if it increases the chances of getting higher quality fish.
I just wish more people here would simply upvote the original post if they agree with the idea/request.
