Would be awesome if you could have a trident that gave you sea magic / ability to also summon Megaladon or Kraken on enemy boat, alot of content coming so hoping they can fit it in, maybe also a Temple to Posideon as well in each area of map.
And in these temples you place your trident with the corresponding gem to get the power infused into the trident ( you would see a picture on the wall next to the arrangement of siren gems etc..
Why do you new players come in and always ask for ridiculous power scaling things. The entire point is to enable balance between someone like me who has been around forever and someone like you who has barely started playing. This is the 3rd thread recently asking for ridiculous power upside. They have no place in sea of thieves. Stop asking. Go play a different game if you want power scaling.
Plus we already have tridents in game. And no player needs the ability nor should they have the ability to summon a megaladon or kraken upon an enemy vessel in pvp. It's already annoying when PvE encounters interfere with pvp. We definitely do not need more of that.

For magic tridents, we have the "Trident of Dark Tides," a powerful type of weapon you can find on your adventures, similar to Gunpowder Barrels. They fire bubbles of energy which explode on impact; the longer you charge the bubble the more damage it deals, but the slower it moves. It's really good for clearing out PvE threats, like Skeletons or Ocean Crawlers, and for smashing Siren Statues.
We also have sunken temples: Siren Shrines and Treasuries. These are marked on the map, and are easily seen from your ship by the swirling lights coming up from the waves. Dive down, and swim all the way to the sea floor to find and enter them, then solve the puzzles inside for treasure! You can even store treasure you find in special statues down there, which you can then recover when you return to your ship. You might even find a Coral Message in a Bottle on your adventures, which will direct you to one of these temples to find a valuable treasure called the "Breath of the Sea."
Dude, this is umpteenth time you've suggested a Trident with some sort of magical powers to summon a sea monster.
I don't see why you keep making new threads about this. The responses are usually not in favor of your suggestion, people tell you why it's a bad idea, yet you keep posting about it.
It's honestly getting a little tiresome.
@cptnpotbeard there would be balance.. you would have to collect the gems put the trident and the right gems in place in the temple to infuse the trident with power, yes I have posted similar ideas but the idea refines and evolves, it has a place in the game, and would give people more chance in PvP and useful in pve also. The order of souls does not even offer any magic even though that's what there about, most games have a magic welding character.
