I recently bought the game on PC and I have been experiencing a rather strange issue. I cannot chat with other players at all. When me and my friends were playing together, I have discovered that not only I cannot be heard (even though the indication of active voice is showing up, to them it isn't), I also cannot type in chat (everything that I write in the chat is not visible for other players) and of course, I don't hear from the other side either (both vocally and in text form).
I also have a problem with logging onto this website with the account I have linked to steam, I was forced to make a new one just to write this- it might be linked to the issue.

This may be down to one of two things, you may be using an Xbox child account that is managed by your parents or your Xbox privacy settings are preventing you from talking/chatting to others.

@musicmee Thanks for the reply and the help. I've tried the Xbox privacy settings, but somehow I cannot access them.
On that note, at least I figured out that the problem isn't with Microsoft, since my account isn't in any family group at all.
