My buddy's idea but he doesn't use these forums, it doesn't make sense to have to go into hideout to buy missions. Granted they are somewhat useles in comparison with thieves haven runs but that's not the point.

@jaegerdelta3465 I think it does. The Gold Hoarder is the leader of the Gold Hoarders, but you don't see him doling out voyages left and right to every pirate upon the Sea do ya?

@jaegerdelta3465 to clarify i was less talking from a lore pov (although the mysterious stranger is linked to pirate lord and passes on messages etc) and more just practically speaking from a design perspective it kinda sucks to have to load into a diff area to buy a mission, athena is pain enough as it is without adding unnecessary extra delays

Athena's Fortune is a core part of the Sea - we Legends aren't going anywhere.

I think it's fine as it is, I never do Athena Voyages anyway they are boring.
But another idea I had is what about making the hideout like a 'safezone hub'.
Instead of having a separate one for each pirate have one expanded one that's shared by all Pirate Legends.
Idk probably a pointless addition but playing a shanty with all the PLs could be fun

Yes. The hideout is the same for everyone. If someone enters the hideout from Galleon’s Grave and someone else enters from Sanctuary Outpost then they will run into each other once they both arrive.
No matter whether you agree or not, one thing is certain:
It doesn't make sense at all that Larinna is selling Thieves Haven Runs. Whether these should be sold by the mysterious stranger or by the pirate lord is definitely also an interesting discussion.
I would love to see the hideout being used for more than just buying voyage and a handful of cosmetics.
One idea however... The mysterious stranger is standing in front of a door. Maybe behind that door could be a secret pirate legend room that accepts the loot and sells the voyages, while the hideout is used for something way larger, whenever rare is willing to do something like that?
Don't burden poor George with more stuff. Let the man mysteriously chill casually in the corner. Although I agree it has always been odd that larinna sells thieves haven and I don't have to go visit that lazy bum Ramsey to pick them up. But don't burden George with more things. He just likes to chill in the corner.
