Hello!
I've bought SoT few days ago and totally felt in love with this game. However I'm facing strange technical issues, like huge fps drops and overall low performance (up to 70 fps max, usualy around 60)
Im playing on PC with such spec:
Intel i5-3570k
Gtx 970
16 GB RAM
In order to keep fps at stable 60 I'm playing on Cursed graphic yet it still drops sometimes to 15 for some reason (sometimes at open sea, sometimes when I'm in the middle of island). I think I should've been able to play the game at least on a Rare settings with stable frames above 60...
Any ideas what to do?
Low FPS - strange performance
These might help to have a more stable FPS:
Accessed from Sea of Thieves Settings:
- Make sure the game is in 'Full Screen'
- Set 'Buffering' mode to 'Quadruple'
- Try lowering the 'Resolution Scaling'
(Other options)
Accessed from Nvidia Control Panel:- 'Texture Filtering Quality' to 'High Performance'
- 'Power Management Mode' to 'Prefer Maximum Performance'

Im sorry but this do not work for me, the game itself have some issue that is causing frustration to a lot of players.
