Have to sign in to Xbox every time i start game

    So i have been searching the net, but havent found anything. So every time i start up SoT it asks me to sign in to xbox live. And i dont know how i get it to just automatically sign me in. My Xbox game bar is signed in, my Xbox companion app is signed in and my xbox app is signed in. But it just always wants me to sign in. Anyone know how i can get it to just always be signed in so i dont have to log in every time?

    @mrsirviking maybe look into your profile settings...do you have turned that to offline or something? Don’t know what else to do...this is completely new to me

    @mrsirviking Does your User Account have permissions to update your Credential Manager? It sounds like your access token for Xbox Live is not being modified correctly. Additionally you may want to sign into your email account and make sure that it is properly authenticated through Microsoft as 2FA has been know to cause some issues.

    I have the same problem. Every time I start the game in Steam it asks me to sign in to Xbox. It only happens on Live, not on Insider. Been like this for several weeks now, but it wasn't like this before.

    User accounts? For Windows 10? I am the only user so i have admin rights. So i assume that it can update a credential manager. But it wasent always like this. Is just sort of happened at some point. So i am not sure why it wont just save my login.

    @pathfindr-no Firefox. But i did go in and reset edge just i case that had something to do with it.

    The same thing is happening to me as of maybe a week ago, super annoying. No idea how to fix it as I have tried everything I can find online about it.

    same problem, im also logged into my account on game bar, have xbox linked to steam n all that. really silly for it to be like this
