  • Or, since that would require voting by the crew, I'd much prefer just being able to uniquely organize your quest wheel.

Make a simple interact with the quest table and allow us to organize our voyages like we do with emotes.

That way you can plot your course and have the quests in the order of your course.

  • @sweetsandman Maybe the option to have the random maps appear in storage on your ship somewhere so you and your crew can choose to have them active or not?

Or make them a physical thing by adding a secondary map bundle (maybe with a unique mark or colour) that gets filled with random quests picked up. So you can dump them or leave them for another crew.

  • How about a ability to sell them to someone at a outpost for a low amount of gold or doubloons? Cause half of the time i end up not even doing any of them

  • or just do the quests?
what would happen if by chance you Accidently drop a quest you wanted? Oh think of the issues...

    1. The quests might not be rewarding enough to go from Cannon Cove to Ashen Reaches
    2. If you drop it, it should drop as a physical map bundle like buried treasure, allowing both easy recovery and trading between players.
    3. Why not allow space to improve on already existing mechanics? I personally like to avoid picking them up where I can but that can take a second for me to recalculate and not just pick up everything from a barrel just to avoid that one thing, so for those accidents that one does pick them up, just make a simple drop function
  • I like the idea of trading/dropping an item. Coral Battles? Lol. Might be nice for people who are still collecting 30.

Being a physical item on the ship? Not voyages. Buried Map bundles are one thing, but I don't think you should be able to steal a voyage itself. Plus I doubt PvP people would do them any ways...

Mixed feelings on selling them. You didn't bother to do the voyage so you shouldn't get rewarded.

  • @musicmee That works too. Literally anything would be better than the unorganized mess that the quest wheel can sometimes be.

  • Can we make our own quest in bottles?

Chuck useless quests overboard for someone else

  • I usually portal hop to get rid of all quests. On the other hand it can come in handy to pick up all the bottle messages you see. Sometimes it helps you to fill up the last bit of reputation to become emissary level 5 to sell. Sometimes you collect 3 BOTS at the same shrine or treasury. It has its advantages and disadvantages to have that many quests. But an option to toggle visibility (mark some as favourites and others to "hide") could be a relatively easy solution and a nice QoL update I hope.

why not just post them on the quest board like treasure maps

  • @scheneighnay

I dug stuff up and hid it again.

Trash voyages are the same and you shouldn't get credit for someone doing them for you. Shouldn't be able to add it to the quest board unless you don't want credit for posting it...

  • @pithyrumble
Never said you should get anything from posting it. You don't get credit for posting your stash, and that's a separate topic.
