Jokes apart, rare is exclusively owned by microsoft. Fortnite is cross platform because epic games doesn't own any company nor is bought by one. You can get the game on pc and play it with a ps4 controller. But you should get a xbox ever since it offers upto 120 fps, im telling you get a xbox. If we think about this logically though, why don't they release it on PS?
I mean I get that it's an exclusive, etc., But do people really but MS products so they can play SoT? I mean it's a good game but I wouldn't spend £500 on a new consoke just to play it...
They could have a whole new revenue stream if they had it on PS and Nintendo
But the current platforms are fine tbh

Because Microsoft owns Rare, and Microsoft is the main competitor of Sony, who own Playstation.
It's not in Microsoft's interest to give Sony a game that does pretty well as far as sails go (see what i did there? Lol)
Yeah I don't expect them to send their own game off, it just seems a bit odd that companies have exclusives. I always assumed it was so people would buy the console, but consoles cost way to much for it to work like that.
@ottyman8687 It's likely not worth the extra cost and effort to hire new staff to work on and maintain the PS port.
This game is also deeply embedded into the XBox ecosystem, and I don't know if Sony has other games that use XBox accounts or any interest in doing so.
