[Suggestion] Map bundles in Sea Forts

  • While doing a new Sea Fort I saw the model of the map bundle on a table in the main living room of the Sea Fort, I think it'd be cool if these map bundles could be collected to find phantom crates or extra loot. Maybe have these islands be set depending on the region or fort you steal from for example if you took a map from an Ancient isles Sea Fort you'd be at Crooks Hollow digging up a chest (it'd be better to have these maps lead to an island more in the middle of the map since PvP is very scarce, would make a point of interest). Maybe add PvP commendations for stealing the map bundles and commendations for completing the map bundles? It's probably too late for this since the update's already out, but having a point of interest like the middle of the map and commendations usually creates interactions good or bad that makes replayable content.

  • @klon3dx I think, compared to other activities in the game, those fortresses give already a very good amount of loot...don’t you agree?

  • @schwammlgott they give a decent amount of loot but experienced players complete these too fast imo. It'd be cool to find voyages the phantoms stash and go out to look for extra loot that's in a more concentrated part of the map for player on player experience. The Forts are already put in very isolated areas, dragging players into the middle of the map with an incentive could introduce more PvP interactions I'd think.

There is another idea somewhere in the recent threads...where the map in the main room shows a x-mark the spot with a high value treasure chest, that only can be opened with the key of the fortress...so you have to decide, if you take the loot, or go to get that chest...I actually would prefer that idea, because, as you said, experienced players finish them fast and compared to other activities I think it's almost too much good loot inside them...

  • @schwammlgott yea just read that post, guess me and that dude had a somewhat same idea lol. I like it too!
