Anyone care to elaborate on how I can find these deckhand ships, I’ve spent all day in a loading screen and then to spend more time looking for a ship that is nowhere to be seen

Quick question - will I ever see you guys on the Xbox Only Seas, or would I have to cross borders to meet you guys?
@galactic-geek Yes... some of us do sail on Xbox only seas... but myself, I need to do Cross Platform sorry.

Not to make unnecessary controversy, but when doing a community contest you should make sure that everyone can participate on equal terms.

This is an extra job essentially for them, which they do for free. There are also only a limited number of deckhands, each with real lives and things going on.
Basically, between IRL schedules and the fact that the hardware they have is the hardware they have, there would never be a 100% chance of meeting them in the game. How many times have you come across the same crews in a session?

I am not criticising the work you do for the community free of charge and unpaid. I do the same in my own small way and I understand how much energy is spent on it.
But if a person makes a contest, which also ends up on the official social networks of the game, they have to put everyone in the same conditions to be able to participate. If someone plays with the xbox crossplay limitation, I'm on PC and have 100% failure rate of the contest, and I don't find that fair and equal.@mogetius-ita MusicMee literally said he plays with crossplay enabled, as does Lizalaroo, Kattruewalker and a few others I know of.
