You can get some similar pieces to the ferryman set, such as the corsair sea dog hat. I'm not averse to a new Ferry of the Damned set in the future, though.

Why a opposition to a reskin.
I think that it would be good for the people who don’t have it to have something like it. I’m not saying to re-release the original, just make a reskin for other players.

@cpt-viserion i own the controller, however for a reskin thr colors have to be very different. I dont want it to be confused for the ferryman set.

No, I’m talking about the exclusive Ferryman set that came with a controller. I’m thinking of a reskin that looks similar.

I'd like to see the controller re released as the upgraded series s/x version.

they should totally put the ferryman set in emporium…it was never right to put it behind a controller purchase that people scalped and so many people lost out on it…

Aristocrat, Cultured Aristocrat, Silver Blade and Sapphire Blade share weapons.

I feel like Rare already said they wouldn’t do a reskin of this set. I wouldn’t be opposed to it but I thought we already had an answer on it.

Eh. People paid IRL money - some way more than others - to get those exclusive cosmetics. A reskin would probably be really disappointing to those folks...especially those that paid way over MSRP.

If anything, we should be asking for new IRL items that have codes tied to unique cosmetics. Things that can't just be purchased at any time via the Emporium.

As incredible as the Ferryman set may look to some. Sea of Thieves unfortunately doesn't own all the rights to the cosmetic set. So a Reskin might in some ways be a risk. It would be nice to see them do more events/merch drops like it though. I would love to see more Limited Time items at play in the game.

@sweetsandman if people paid more or way more than msrp thats not anypne elses fault. I say that as someone who has been using part of the ferryman skin since april or may of 2018 i cant remember.

@captain-coel Agreed. Scalpers have made out well on some of these controllers. Hats off to those that got their hands on them at MSRP back in the day. As you said, a reskin would need to be drastically different in color scheme. Like Obsidian vs Cultured Aristocrat levels of different.

I’ve seen this exact data mine. Still pondering at least a mysterious stranger set if not a ferryman reskin. This is good too tbh.

@cpt-viserion I'm aware, my point is. Sea of Thieves does not own all the rights to Ferryman Set as it was a Partnered product. I would love to see more Ferryman cosmetics (or a Reskin set) as well, but with them not owning 100% of the rights for it, it would make it far too much of a risk.
