There should be another customization slot where you can have multiple characters you can choose from… like let’s say i want a new character, i could either save that character and make a new pirate but keep all of my stuff then i could switch back and forth between them when i want, and i know there’s pirate appearance potions, you could change them to a slot for a new pirate. Like say i have a character now and i want to get another character but i am able to switch between my character and the other character i’m making. it should cost the same as a pirate appearance potion to get another character slot and still own every cosmetic or item i unlocked, cause i really don’t wanna get rid of the character i am now but i wanna be a different character with all of my stuff.

yeah, I actually had a thought similar to this the other night. Buying the potion could create said character slot for you to swap between instead of overwriting the old one, and create a "free" potion to earn for like 2.5 million gold or a couple of thousand doubloons.
Also, rework the potion so you can choose your character first, THEN buy the potion, so then if you want to just have a look around at what characters are available you don't have to deal with the reminder popup every single time you load in@m4gic-wolf-321 I prefer sticking to one character. Having one makes my pirate feel unique, and a part of me like my irl nose. If I had the ability to swap noses, it would make the og nose feel less special. Same goes with my pirate, having multiple pirates makes my og pirate feel replaceable, like he's just another cosmetic for me to change as I please.
@el-spaniardchi Its just a common RPG feature, I will stick to my character but it cant hurt to have it.

Fair enough! I just prefer the current system. It forces a player to be more "loyal" to their pirate. If people really want another pirate, they can just make another account.

True. I dunno, I just really don't like the idea. I see dealing with a alt or spending money to a pirate appearance potion the same way most of us see server alliances. Doesn't really feel right, but if people are willing to deal with a alt or willing to spend money to change, it's fine. I just don't want pirate models to be like another sword, or another figurehead in my collection

For me as long as it dosent betray the vision of SoT im open for suggestions, this feature is just not for me.What I would love to see is saved sets and expanaion to the character creation. Nothing crazy, just filters like gender skin and weight, changing poses to get a better look on the pirates and zooming in.

Generally agree with filters, just as long as there aren't too many of them. I mainly think Gender filter is needed. Too often have i been scrolling and looking for one specific gender, and getting a ton of options i wasn't looking for.
100% agree with poses and zooming in! I didn't notice alot of features on my pirate until after i had selected him, and while i'm personally fine with them, i understand some people might not be very happy to learn their pirate has some feature they didn't want or see.

I love the way my character looks like ( though i would kill for blue eyes and not green) but i feel the struggle for other players.
This is a difficult one to answer ... When i play a game on which i can fully create a character ,i always find myself discontent after a while ,which leads to deleting the character and restarting ...again . This way it's hard to finish a game sometimes...In this game you have hours to find the character and when you finally found him/her then it starts to grow at you ... If Rare would give me a " change character potion" for free ,i would politely thank them for that gift but leave the potion on the shelf ,never to be used , after almost four years , this pirate became....me.

Same! I like my pirate's unshaven look, but he always looks weird when i give him a moustashe, like he drank too much and forgot to shave.
