Cracking sounds issues

    I'm from XBox One X, and since the start of the new update I noticed that when I get holes in the hull with the storm I can't hear the cracking sound of the wood and the flow of water anymore.

    I second this. My crew noticed yesterday driving through a storm. No cracking/breaking noises when holes are produced.

    I confirm. I reproduced it on PC - Headphones/Speakers, any volume channel changes make no difference. Spatial sound on/off makes no difference, issue still there.
    How come this was not discovered during testing?

    In the same vein, when you scuttle your ship it doesn’t make the hole noises. I’m used to hearing every hole break open so it’s weird that it’s just silent.
