Sinking Skeleton Galleons

  • im beginning to think they are bugged…approached one…literally shot 5 cursed balls, 30 cannon balls (mostly all low shots), threw about 10 flame bombs…still wouldnt sink….anyone else come across this? i say 20 cannon balls were low with hit markers, 10 mid with markers

and this proves galleons **DO NOT ** sink the fastest…i can hit a skeleton sloop with 10 cannon balls and its done

  • shadow skellies? in general they can take longer on a gally especially at night

  • @wolfmanbush In which case... I would suggest Fire and Flares!

  • @wolfmanbush oooo they were actually but why would that matter? we are talking about putting holes in a ship to sink…not killing skeletons

  • @madfrito99

With them being ghosts you cannot stop them from boarding up as easily with cannon shots... since they arent really going to take damage until they are in the light...

So they can patch and patch without much hassle... compared to all other types that you can kill with just cannonballs and prevent them from boarding.

Fire and flare will be your savior here...

Because his crew is bigger than a player galleon. You've already invaded their boat and come across four or five skeletons fixing holes in the hull while three of them come to you to kill you. Have you thought about it?

  • Some are just super tough and some are super easy.

I mega Kegd one last night dude still kept going! Had to finish him off with regular keg.

I like it cause it's always random.

You may have hit them 30 times but they could have had 10 dudes walking around patching.

I'd suggest 5 blunders after your 10 cannonballs. This will keeping from repairing.

Same as it does to human opponents.

I believe the ones with the black ghost skellies are the toughest. Like they can fix but they take no damage in their ethereal form.

That's what they were last night when they survived the mega keg

  • @madfrito99 while the skeletons dont bail out water they do fix the ship.

If they are in an unkillable state due to night time then they can just keep fixing making water ingress slower.

Plants skeletons on ships are also more tough, because as soon as they hut water they heal

  • I use 2 strategies to sink skelly Gallies.

1° If I am Lucky and dig some Chest of sorrow, I board them and let the Chest on the ship, then spin around or run from them a bit and they sink in minutes, they don't take Water out of the ship.

2° If I am with another mate, just let him at cannons and board skelly ship with a Disney stick to spam charges on mid and botton deck. They sink pretty easy and fast.

And extra tip that I've never tested but people says that It works. They use to get stuck at rocks , if they do or you hit them with anchor ball, bucket Water inside the ship from the Water, with 8-10 buckets they should be done, but I don't know if this works.
