Title says it all really.
I would like to be able to play with my squad on the same boat.
Pretty please Rare?
Any chance we can get a 6-MAN BOAT?
@captain-coel
You're probably right. Shame tho, the Gally is always the wrong choice compared to a Brig.@el-spaniardchi
Well that depends.
If a 6-man Man-O-War also didn't have the outright speed to catch, or maneuverability to corner the other boats, would it matter?@smuntface It would if they got on board your ship and did some hand to hand combat. Imagine a duo or solo slooper dealing with 5+ guys.

Solo Sloopers often get got by not paying attention to their surroundings. And I've seen sweaty sloop crews wreck any opposition. Just sayin
I don't see how dealing with a chasing brig, being considerably faster than a sloop, is somehow an easier proposition than a slower boat you could outrun.@maironds88 said in Any chance we can get a 6-MAN BOAT?:
This is a matter of pure balance. Have you ever imagined the six of you attacking a sloop? How fair would it be, wouldn't it?
The game isn't perfectly balanced between the ships or solo/crews. The Brig is undeniably the best in the game.
I'm not suggesting the status quo changes, but that a bigger crew can access a large ship with a drawback. The BIG ship with the largest crew SHOULD excel in attacking and killing things. It should be formidable.
In this respect, the Galleon is overshadowed by the Brig IME.
My idea is to simply make a Man-O-War a bit slow. That way boats that want to run, can simply slip away or out manoeuvre them.
The idea being, you get caught by the slowest boat in the game, that's your own damn fault.@smuntface said in Any chance we can get a 6-MAN BOAT?:

The idea being, you get caught by the slowest boat in the game, that's your own damn fault. If you insist. You're talking about the boat being slower and harder to maneuver, okay. Now as for firepower, I imagine you want enough cannons for your 5 friends to be able to shoot while you use the Wheel. Is that still fair?
Sweat sloop, pra sweat solo sloop, are exceptions, and not the rule, not everyone is a pro player streamer.
Galleons, sloops, and brigs can engage in a battle and everyone has a chance to emerge victorious. This is due to the number of crew members, speed of ships, and characteristics of each of them. A galleon might be able to go up against a Man o War, a brig too, but already with reduced odds. Would a sloop resist firepower? I don't think so. With the current concept of ships and mechanics that exist in the game, a Man'o'war would be very unbalanced. Unless you have a concept to present, Because a generic ship for six people is kind of a hard thing to fight about. Oh it will be slower and difficult to maneuver, I doubt that if it is worse in this that the galleon people will want to play in this mammoth, big but slow as a slug, which will be seen from afar and will be left behind even easier.@burnbacon said in Any chance we can get a 6-MAN BOAT?:
Why?
In time your friends will stop playing and your 6 man group will drop to 3 so the 6 man boat you “ONLy” wanted wil become worthless.Regarldess of you stance of OP's actual arguement, this seems to be a wierd point to make IMO. We shouldn't add content because people might stop playing?
@el-spaniardchi I could be but it would be no different than being in fight 2 or more ships at the same time and iv seen a sloop crew fight off 2 galleons and a brig and win ..but I don’t think Rare will add one
@otherfanboy Well at least with that their power is split because they spawn from different ships, stay on their own boats, and generally such crews are very uncoordinated. This idea slams them all on the same ship with people they actually know and can strategize with. Not just 2 random ships who are chill enough with each other to alliance.

NO this will totally unbalance the game. It is bad enough for Solo player as is.
I don't see this as a reason. Solo sloopers struggle to escape a decent Brig or Gally crew.
