Underwater combat!

  • Came up with a small list of changes to make underwater combat more balanced and interesting for both pvp and pve.

    1:Dpi switching

A big exploit im sure many of you have encountered is an exploit where people max out their dpi and violently shake their camera when underwater making it almost impossible for shots to register.

    Potential fixes:

A:Give players that do this the drunk affect and eventually start taking their health away.

B:Limit how fast a player can turn somehow?

C: modify the player hitbox/animations so they aren't as buggy.

    2:Better underwater cutlass combat.

A:Underwater cutlass dodge: Allows the cutlass to be more viable in the water.

B:Underwater lunge: Shouldn't be viable for fast underwater movement but should still provide a longer ranged attack.

3:you can't aim all the way up or down!:

Since I'm not able to see my boots when I look down anyway * cries * why can't we look all the way up or down? This is most noticable when cleaning up players that went down with their ship or when trying to snipe down from or up the crowsnest.

They don't even have to do that. My base DPI is 3200 or something and it can trigger as low as like 1400 and below.

It has to do with the animations specifically from what I've heard.

If you see someone doing this to essentially get advantage in combat, it's considered an actionable offense. Contact support with clips.

You're actually not allowed to use DPI exploits.
