Need urgent help: Lavenderbeard,Alabasterbeard, I'mlitterallygoingmadwiththesebeard errors

    Howdy Pirates,

    I am constantly getting some random errors ALL the time and I can't play a single game for almost a month now... at first I had Lavenderbeard error which turns out the support has absolutely nothing covered on it and the facebook chat bot just kept me in a loop until I found a cool dude on YT who explained how to fix it. After so many struggles (re-installing the game,windows, drivers and getting stuck on "checking for fake coin") I finally managed to reach the game menu! No matter what type of game I choose to start I keep getting the Alabasterbeard error... and to be totally honest I am kinda close on just uninstalling this game for good and just move on, although my whole crew was fired up to play together and now we're kinda sad for paying 35 bucks for a game we can't even play.

    Sorry for sounding so salty but it's really frustrating at this point. Hope any captain here can give a hand...!

    It seems like we are seeing several issues affecting services at the moment, including:

    • Alabasterbeard
    • 0 Gold - visual bug
    • Trouble accessing store inventories

    Rare are aware and investigating. Stay tuned for more updates.

    I'm also getting alabasterbeard every time I try to start up on a game session. My internet is fine. Hope it gets resolved soon :(

    @musicmee Ahoy there, I just managed to fix the error. Not sure why but seems linking your xbox and Steam accounts is a very bad idea.. I just unlinked them from the "Not the correct email? Unlink here." button on the start screen and finally managed to set sail. The game devs should really put some effort on making it easier for themselves and set up straight forward connection routes rather than asking players to link their accounts for ease of access which actually does the opposite.

    No hate, only salt - were back on sailing me brothers!

    p.s. long story short, if you get alabasterbeard error on PC you can try to un-link your Xbox & Steam accounts

    I think that was more luck on your part... not actually fixing the error. You can sometimes get in (not see the Alabaster error) but have other issues while in game and sometimes not get in at all.

    There is something going on servers wide. I'm trying to by things...clothing, vanity...and his inventory is not loading up. Keeps telling me: "I'm having some trouble preparing my inventory. Ask me again shortly." Or "I can't find that item. Try later." So it's not just getting into the game. Took me almost 30 mins and an Alabasterbeard every 5-8 mins to actually get in.

    @musicmee this is so very true, matey. I get some sort of beard every time I try to log in or am in game playing. Yesterday, I got the beard that destroys the delivery note for cargo...so lost a lot of xp and money trying over and over. Ultimately log out from the frustration of it all.

    I would like to play but the Alabasterbeard is the only result when trying to set sail. Honestly any time we have a chance to play and pick up new players ( Christmas and New Years) Rare has a double Gold. Double Gold equals servers that do not work and players losing earned loot. Then they will hand out some gold and dablooms and say sorry about losing out on your Gold and Glory. Please just do not have events you cannot support, going on three years now this is how is goes. New players lost every single time.

    I am getting the same errors as well and when i do load in the shops are broken not getting gold ect...... they say servers are up and running but i dont know how that is the case like this. They have not even put out something on the matter.

    @musicmee I dont have twitter, so i check the games website for updates. So if the game website says there are no problems that is what i base my info on not twitter

    @musicmee one thing that isn't broken; the ability to buy Ancient Coins!! I can still spend money on stuff.. just can't play the dang game.. please fix.
