Not sure if this has ever been mentioned...
It seems like an obvious simple QOL addition. Simply go to your supply radial and grab a... plank. Make sure your ship is parallel to a dock. If your ship is close enough, an 'x' indicator shows a wood plank could be placed to create a bridge to the dock.
I know experienced players have various ways to jump or swim to the dock of an outpost or seapost...
But why not include the ability to place a simple wood bridge or plank from the dock to your ship quickly...
for those of us that take pride in parking our ship professionally alongside a dock, you know, the way its done at real docks.
What do you think? Would you use it if it was a easy as placing a plank over a hole in your hull, but quicker?
